Craps Rules

Craps may permit up to a maximum of 20 players at ago. Players may wish to participate in shooting or rolling the dice in an alternating manner by changing in anticlockwise direction. But this remains optional and players who do not wish to roll may as well watch the game and only make bets. There is a wide range of bets to choose from including pass line bets, come bets, odds on come bets, don't pass line bets, odds on pass line bets, don't come bets, field bets, big six/eight bets, place bets and proposition bets.

Craps is played with two dice which are rolled in each round and the totals of the outcome counted. There are a total of 36 possible outcomes that can be expected when two dice rolled at one go. Some numbers have one probability of occurring out of the possible 36 such as getting a total of two or twelve. The probability increases with the middle numbers but declines towards both the small numbers and the high numbers. Betting in craps is therefore on the probability of getting certain totals from rolling two dice.

Craps rules are some how strict and require that the dice are used on the craps table and for a duration of about eight hours after which the dice need be replaced with new ones. Other rules and craps tips require that players hold the dice with only one hand and when rolling the dice they should hit the wall opposite the shooter. If the dice falls in the process some kind of inspection is done by a stickman before play resumes.

Craps Betting

Pass line bets are the simplest bets players start with and they are just the opposite of don't pass line bets. Unfortunately or fortunately both bets that are at the opposite of one another may miss the target and the player may proceed to other levels with different rolling requirements. Pass line bets win if the rolling out come is 7 or 11 and don't pass line bets win if the rolling outcome is 2, 3 and 12. If in the rolling process numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10 come up then a 'point' is declared which require the dice to be rolled further subject to given conditions.

When a point is declared, the number that rolled is declared the point and if in subsequent rolls the point is reached before 7 then the pass line bets win. If 7 is rolled before the point number then the don't pass line bets win. In cases where either the pass line bets win or the don't pass line bets win, the other side of the bet looses. There are no middle grounds.
